Here's what we've got to look forward to this September

Well, we enjoyed a bumper cinematic summer and the good news is the hits keep on coming in September here at Showcase Cinemas. Let’s have a look at some of the highlights!

 

The Forgiven

Directed by John Michael McDonagh
Starring Ralph Fiennes, Jessica Chastain, Matt Smith

A couple, Ralph Fiennes and Jessica Chastain, visit Morocco for a friend’s party (Matt Smith) when a traffic accident occurs. The aftermath will put their marriage and own self-worth to the test.
John Michael McDonagh (The Guard (2011), Calvary (2014), War on Everyone (2016)) directs and adapted Lawrence Osborne’s novel.

Three Thousand Years of Longing

The Woman King

Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris

Oscar nominee Lesley Manville stars as Ada Harris, a widowed cleaning lady in 1950s London who becomes obsessed with a couture Dior dress and decides she must have one of her own.
Anthony Fabian (Skin (2008), Good Hope (2019)) directs and co-wrote the screenplay, an adaptation of Paul Gallico's novel.

Smile

Parker Finn makes his feature film debut with Smile, which tells the story of Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) who witnesses a bizarre and traumatic incident involving a patient, resulting in a series of frightening set of occurrences that she cannot explain.
