The top 3 most terrifying dolls in horror film history

M3gan (short for Model 3 Generative Android) is about to unleashed at Showcase Cinemas. And with 3 being the magic number we give you 3 of the scariest dolls in horror film history!

Some of us - no names mentioned among the Showcase Cinemas team! – are frightened of dolls, you know the china lifelike dolls that sit in the corner of a bedroom, with eyes that seem to follow you round the room. Well, if you are one of those people the forthcoming release of M3gan is sure to scare the bejesus out of you.

So with M3gan (short for Model 3 Generative Android) soon to be unleashed at Showcase cinemas and with 3 being the magic number we give you 3 of the scariest dolls in horror film history!

3: Chucky in Child’s Play (1988)

Surely no list can be complete without young Chucky! But can we blame young Chucky when it is serial killer Charles Lee Ray who has transferred his evil should to the doll? Where ever your sensibilities lay we applaud Brad Dourif for sterling work as both Charles s Lee Ray and the voice of Chucky.

2: Billy in Saw (2004)

James Wan as we have previously mentioned has written and produced M3gan but it certainly is not his first foray into creepy dolls. His debut feature Saw gave us Billy, who is actually unnamed in the film and its sequels but nevertheless with its jet black messy hair and deathly white pallor and spiral red cheeks this one super creepy ventriloquist doll!

1: Annabelle in The Conjuring (2013)

It is that man again, James Wan, who has surely one mission – to frighten us to death! And he achieved that with The Conjuring, starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as paranormal investigators. Wan’s debut also introduced us to Annabelle for the first time and we have no shame in admitting is absolutely terrified us, and the evil doll has continued to do in further screen appearances.

Yes Annabelle takes our top! We really can't wait to see if M3gan pips this to the post. Join us for a the new horror-sensation from 12 January.
