The Big Screen is back - and it is scientifically more exciting
Scientists in the UK have proved that there’s good reason for film fans to be excited about the reopening of cinemas – the big screen experience is, scientifically, more exciting than watching movies on TV.
A team of scientists from the University of East Anglia, commissioned by us here at Showcase Cinemas, has conducted a biometric study to test how watching movies on the two mediums compared.
The test subject? Self-confessed movie aficionado, TV star and Showcase fan, Keith Lemon.
Watch the clip below to witness Keith being subject to the science and why exactly watching a film on the Big Screen trumps watching a film on your TV.
