Our round up of some of the excitement you can expect at Showcase during April, May and June.

April

A Quiet Place

Real-life husband and wife John Krasinski and Emily Blunt pair up to play Lee and Emily Abbott, who must live life in silence with their two children, Regan and Marcus, while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound. The early reviews are in and critics are calling A Quiet Place a horror film that will take its place as a classic in the genre.

A Quiet Place is at Showcase on 5 April, with advance screenings on 2 April - CLICK HERE to book now

Rampage

Director Brad Peyton and Dwayne Johnson team up again with Rampage. After successfully collaborating on Journey 2: Mysterious Island and San Andreas, the pair return with the big screen adaptation of the 80s hit video game, ‘Rampage’. When they announced the film back in 2015 Johnson sent out a message to his fans: ‘Promise y’all our goal is to raise the bar and make a movie that’s epic, cool, entertaining and most importantly…has heart.’ Sounds as if we’re in for a full-on thrill ride!

Rampage is at Showcase on 12 April, with advance screenings on 11 April

Avengers: Infinity War

We will hold our hands up and say we had to work hard to stem tears of joy when we saw the trailer to Avengers: Infinity War. It virtually broke the internet when it landed such was the outpouring from fans across the globe upon seeing the Avengers joining forces with The Guardians of the Galaxy to thwart Thanos’ destructive plans to end the universe.
We simply cannot wait!

Avengers: Infinity War is at Showcase on 26 April - CLICK HERE to book now

May

Sherlock Gnomes

Romeo and Juliet was the basis for the runaway animated hit, Gnomeo & Juliet so who better to turn to for the sequel then a great British detective Sherlock Holmes?! Sherlock Gnomes sees Emily Blunt and Martin Freeman returning to join Johnny Depp as Sherlock and Chiwetel Ejiofor as his partner Dr. Watson in the case of the missing gnomes.

Sherlock Gnomes is at Showcase on 11 May with advance screenings 5-7 May

Deadpool 2

Ryan Reynolds returns as the wisecracking mercenary and antihero Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool! Directing the Deadpool sequel is John Wick director David Leitch, so we can expect the action to be ramped up even further - along with the potty mouth humour - for Deadpool 2!

Deadpool 2 is at Showcase on 15 May

Solo: A Star Wars Story

And the blockbuster good news for May just keeps on coming with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story! Ron Howard directs this stand-alone Star Wars film, which is set prior to Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, and centres on the adventures of a young Han Solo and his sidekick Chewbacca, and excitingly we also meet a young Lando Calrissian.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is at Showcase on 25 May

Also out in May:
Life of the Party; Entebbe; Show Dogs; Breaking In

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

More good news for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom? Jeff Goldblum is once again the coolest dude, Dr Ian Malcolm.

Ocean's 8

With a stunning cast led by Sandra Bullock as Debbie Ocean and co-stars Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson and Rihanna, Ocean’s 8 is the all-female spin-off of the Ocean's Eleven film series.
