We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to execute the commercial strategy for Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater.
Located in the heart of one of the UK’s largest shopping centres, this role is pivotal in driving sales growth, enhancing customer experience, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including shopping centre management, film studios, and local businesses.
What you'll be doing:
- Maximise Box Office revenue. Implement central strategies at Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater to boost ticket sales, drive admissions, and increase occupancy rates.
- Target corporate and group bookings. Identify and build relationships with local businesses, schools, and community groups to drive private screenings and group bookings.
- Identify new revenue streams. Explore opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, or in-centre advertising to diversify revenue streams.
- Implement central marketing campaigns. Localise and execute central marketing campaigns to promote new film releases, special screenings, and events.
- Build relationships with the shopping centre team. Act as the key liaison between the cinema and Bluewater centre management to ensure participation in centre-wide marketing and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with film studios. Work closely with film distributors and studios to execute marketing tie-ins, promotions, and premiere events that generate buzz and increase footfall.
- Event management. Organise and promote Insider special screenings and events to create a unique experience for cinemagoers.
- Digital content creation. Assist with capturing local social media content to help the central Marketing team engage with local followers, ensuring content is aligned with brand standards.
What we're looking for:
- To be successful in this role you must have 2-3 years’ proven experience in a sales and marketing role, preferably in the entertainment, leisure or retail industry.
- You will have strong commercial focus with the ability to analyse sales data, customer insights and market trends to feed into localised targeted marketing campaigns.
- You’ll be creative and innovative with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- You’ll have outstanding organisation and project management skills, strong digital marketing knowledge and proven event management experience.
