The first-ever Lithuanian culinary comedy, TASTY, is a hilarious story about two friends and their adventure on a high-end food production reality TV show.
Enthusiastic village girl Saulė (A. Ravdo) and modest single mother Ona (E. Ozarinskaitė) are passionate cooks trapped in the Kaunas canteen "Tasty". One day, without Ona's consent, Saulė involves them in a culinary reality show, the main prize of which is their own restaurant. Saulė lies to the jury about her origins and claims that they are both qualified chefs from the restaurant ‚La TASTY‘.
Although the TASTY team is initially seen as a joke, their simple but brilliant recipes help them to become the viewers' favourites. Despite their success, tensions between the friends begin to rise as Ona receives more and more attention from the audience and from judge Emanuel (L. Pobedonoscevas). The celebrity chef of the competition, Bruknė (L. Rastokaitė), seizes the opportunity and tries to drive them further apart. Will the friendship between Ona and Saulė stand the test?
