Salary:                                 £45,000 per annum

Hours of work:                 Monday to Friday 10.00am to 6.00pm

As Head of Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Showcase marketing and communications strategy for the UK, in conjunction with the Sales & Marketing Director, and responsibilities include:

  • Ownership and implementation of the Showcase communications plan.
  • Working closely with the broader marketing team as well as other key commercial teams within the business including Film Booking, IT, Food & Beverage, Operations and cinema management.
  • Management of company’s digital assets (including website and app), social media channels and other online presence.
  • Overseeing the design and delivery of online and offline campaigns to raise awareness of both the brand and all marketing activity.
  • Plan and execute a wide range of internal and external communications, including in-cinema, ensuring campaigns are communicated effectively.
  • Appropriate analysis of data to show effectiveness and return on investment for campaigns, together with the ability to provide strategic marketing insights.
  • Management of digital, creative, web development and PR agencies.
  • Line management of Marketing Assistant.
     

To be successful in this role you must have proven experience in Marketing Management preferably in the leisure industry, a strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices, including SEO, PPC, social media, e-marketing and content marketing, together with the ability to create and develop innovative marketing ideas.

You will have stakeholder and agency management experience, the ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously, strong organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage projects from conception to delivery, and to hit deadlines.

You’ll have an analytical mindset and be an effective communicator, able to present results in a comprehensive, yet clear manner, be used to working with cross functional internal teams and external partners, have experience of buying media and managing marketing budgets.
