Spider-Man: No Way Home has arrived and here's what the critics had to say

Spider-Man: No Way Home is Tom Holland’s third standalone film and also stars Zendaya as MJ and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. The film also sees the return of villains including Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and Jamie Foxx’s Electro.

There is huge excitement around the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home here at Showcase Cinemas and the wait is finally over! The reviews are in folks, and they’re HUGE!! Here are just a few snippets.

Empire

A monumentally successful Spider-instalment which pulls off a tricky and ambitious narrative trick with all the grace of a balcony-top backflip. At the risk of getting cheesy, it won't just make you cheer, it'll make you want to hug your friends, too. 5 stars.

The Times

As satisfying to watch as it is perilous to discuss (it’s a spoiler minefield), this latest big screen adventure for Marvel’s web-slinging superhero is a dynamite blast of smarty-pants postmodernism that never once abandons its emotional core.

Variety

No Way Home keeps the surprises coming up to (and even through) the end credits.

Daily Mail

There are some terrific moments in this film, and Holland does a splendid job.

Los Angeles Times

Sorry, haters. No Way Home is a joyous valentine to Spider-Man movies and their fans.

CNET

… if you came for the biggest movie of the year, you’ll definitely leave satisfied.
