New to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Eternals features a group of immortal heroes, from the planet Olympia, forced to reunite against mankind's oldest enemy, The Deviants.

As a way of introduction here are ten top Eternals facts and figures!

Who's Behind the Eternals?

The Eternals are the brainchild of Jack Kirby, the man behind Captain America, Iron Man, X-Men and Thor and first introduced to Marvel fans back in 1976. Kevin Feige paid homage to Kirby’s masterful work by saying, “The whole movie is a love letter to what one man was able to do with a pencil, sitting at a little desk on the East Coast.”

Oscar Winning Director

Chosen to direct the Eternals is double Oscar winner, Best Director and Best Picture for Nomadland, Chloé Zhao. She became the first Asian woman to be awarded and only the second woman ever to win the Academy Award for Best Director.

East And West Unite

Director Chloé Zhao is a huge MCU fan as well as a loving Manga comics and has dais that her intention with Eternals is a “marriage of East and West.”
