Be Showcase Safe Update
Throughout the Coronavirus outbreak, our employees and guests’ health has been and will be our top priority. We implemented our Be Showcase Safe initiative in July 2020 following the first UK lockdown, with the intention of making a visit to our cinemas as safe as possible for all guests and employees, and we have been delighted with the feedback received from so many of you who have appreciated the measures we put in place.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Do not enter the cinema if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms
We encourage booking tickets in advance online and the use of card and contactless payments for any transactions in cinema, although cash is accepted and tickets can be purchased from the cinema box office as normal. You can now also purchase your favourite food and drink online to pick up when you get to the cinema, or food and drink can be purchased at the cinema
IMPORTANT UPDATE - FACE COVERINGS
Face coverings will no longer be mandatory at cinemas in England and Wales, although they are encouraged. They remain mandatory at all times in cinemas in Scotland for guests aged 11 or over, except those exempt for health reasons. Face coverings may be removed when eating and drinking.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE (SCOTLAND ONLY)
In order to support the relevant local health system, guests over 12 should leave their contact details for Test & Protect. The best way to do this is to download the Test & Protect App and check in via one of the many QR codes located around the cinema.
IN THE CINEMA LOBBY
Hand sanitiser stations are available for guests to use
Protective screens have been installed at each till point
You can scan your booking confirmation email on your smartphone to enter your film
IN THE AUDITORIUM
Air purifying systems which kill airborne viruses have been installed in all screens
Where possible, help us by leaving the screen directly into the car park at the cinemas that have them
Employees will continue to wear face coverings
All employees have undertaken enhanced safety and cleaning training
We will continue to regularly clean high touch point areas and undertake enhanced cleaning of each auditorium
INSIDER REWARDS, GIFT CARDS AND VOUCHERS
If you are an Insider member who had rewards that were due to expire during our closure, these have been extended to ensure you have at least 9 months from when they were earned in which to use them.
If you hold any pass or voucher with a validity date that falls in the period that we are closed, it will be honoured for the same length of time after the expiry date shown that we were closed for.
