Reopening Update

We are delighted that all of our cinemas are NOW OPEN in line with government guidance.

If you are an Insider member who had rewards that were due to expire during our closure, these have been extended to ensure you have at least 9 months from when they were earned in which to use them.

If you hold any pass or voucher with a validity date that falls in the period that we are closed, it will be honoured for the same length of time after the expiry date shown that we were closed for.

The £5 bonus cards from the Christmas Gift Card promotion which have a 31 March 2021 validity date have been extended to 31 August 2021.

All tickets purchased in advance for future shows that are no longer taking place can be refunded or rescheduled for a new date (where possible) by contacting the cinema directly on the telephone number below between 10am and 6pm, Monday – Friday.

Throughout the Coronavirus outbreak, our staff and customers’ health has been and will be our top priority. Upon reopening in the Summer, we implemented COVID-19 prevention staff training, introduced social distancing measures throughout the cinema and enhanced cleaning regimes including a non-chemical anti-viral spray used on every seat after every screening, added air purifying systems in each auditorium which kill airborne viruses, introduced new staff/customer hygiene practices including hand sanitiser for guest use, staggered the film start times, and added protective screens at till points, all under our Be Showcase Safe programme. We were delighted with the feedback received from so many of you that you appreciated the measures put in place to ensure your visit to us was as enjoyable as possible.

Showcase Cinemas has worked very hard to provide the best movie-going experience for our customers for over 30 years in the UK. Our industry has weathered many difficult moments through the decades, and none more so than this year. Through these unprecedented times, we come back to the same conclusion – people want and need to go to the cinema. However, now is the time for everyone to stay at home and for us to take a short intermission. We remain as passionate as ever about providing you with the ultimate cinema experience and the opportunity to shut out the outside world for a couple of hours.

If you have Insider Rewards that are due to expire in December or January, these will be extended to at least February 2021, but this will be reviewed regularly to ensure that you have a minimum of 9 months to use the rewards earned.

If you have any pass or voucher with an expiry date that falls in the period we are closed, this will be extended for the same period that we are closed.
