Neutron: Boy Genius" tells the simple story of a kid and his robot dog...battling
evil...rescuing his parents...saving the Earth...and returning home in time for
dinner. Jimmy is always inventing gadgets to make his life in Retroville more
interesting. A boy genius with real kid emotions, Jimmy sometimes fantasizes about
life on his own. Living in the small town of Retroville, Jimmy and his friends are anxiously awaiting the opening night of the Retroland Amusement Park. When his parents forbid him to go, he and his friends sneak out. While having the time of his life, Jimmy wishes that his parents would vanish... so he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants.  Meanwhile,
all the parents in Jimmy's hometown are kidnapped by invading aliens - the dreaded
"Yokians" -- a group of hilarious, gross, green, gooey egg-yoke creatures with
eyes that sit in glass shells. Initially absorbed with celebrating the absence
of parental control, Jimmy and his classmates quickly discover that they have
no one to turn to when things don't go right. They not only need, but WANT their
parents back! In his lab, Jimmy discovers the whereabouts of the missing adults. Armed with his cool inventions, Jimmy and his buddies - including his trusty robotic dog Goddard, his best friend Carl Wheezer, and his nemesis Cindy Vortex -- soar to the stars in homemade spacecrafts, battle aliens and have the adventure of their lives rescuing their parents from an odd egg-shaped alien race. |
