A STAR IS BORN AT SHOWCASE CINEMAS NOTTINGHAM
UIP AND SHOWCASE CINEMAS TEAM-UP TO PROMOTE THE RUGRATS MOVIE

favorite babies are bustin out of the TV set and onto the movie screen. Beginning on
Friday, 26 March 1999, Showcase Cinemas will hold a circuit-wide series of promotions and
contests to support the highly anticipated release of The Rugrats Movie. The Rugrats
Movie finds the Pickles family facing the biggest adventure to happen to any household
the birth of a new baby. As Stu and Didi struggle with the changes associated with
the arrival of baby Dylan (Dil), big brother Tommy and his pals decide the babys
antics are cramping their style and head out on the biggest adventure of their lives
to take Dil back to the hopsickle.
In celebration of the opening weekend of The Rugrats Movie,
Showcase Cinemas Manchester will feature window paintings, foyer displays and
competitions. The cinema will hold a series of games and competitions throughout opening
weekend. Moviegoers are encouraged to take part in the wordsearch, trivia contest,
puzzles, scavenger hunt, "Chuckie/Angelica" look-a-like competitions and
put-the-nappie-on-the-"Tommy"-doll competition. Contestants can win Rugrats merchandise,
toys and vouchers to Waterstones and Alphabet Zoo. Exclusively at Showcase Cinemas,
children can enter to win a Raleigh Ride 16 mini mountain bike.
