DANCING BROOMS SPOTTED AT SHOWCASE CINEMAS
FANTASIA 2000 BEGINS EXCLUSIVE RUN AT SHOWCASE CINEMAS 26 MAY
[DEDHAM, Mass., USA] Beginning Friday, 26 May Showcase Cinemas in Coventry, Nottingham, Peterborough, Reading and Teesside will host exclusive runs of Fantasia 2000. The long-awaited follow-up to the 1940 animated classic will also play at Showcase Cinemas in Bristol, Leeds, Paisley and South Wales.
Sixty years after the release of Disney's classic experiment in sight and sound, Fantasia 2000 brings to fruition Walt Disney's personal vision of reinventing his bold 1940 masterpiece Fantasia. A new generation of Disney animators and filmmakers offer an exciting showcase for today's audiences as they visually interpret classical compositions, including Respighi's "Pines of Rome". The production is under the personal supervision of Roy Edward Disney, vice chairman of The Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Feature Animation chairman. Fantasia 2000 includes seven all-new segments and the classic Sorcerer's Apprentice starring Mickey Mouse from the original film.
