SHOWCASE CINEMAS PRESENTS LIVE COMEDY FROM THE COMFORT OF A CINEMA SEAT

COVENTRY, England—April 19, 2006—Showcase Live, providing new live entertainment programming at Showcase Cinemas locations, proudly presents its first venture, Jongleurs – the Live Comedy Experience. The first live comedy show will be on Saturday, 29th April, at Showcase Cinemas Coventry. The doors open at 7:30pm and the show will begin at 9:00pm.

The live show will feature three experienced, stand-up comedians who will perform in a cinema auditorium specially renovated for the evening with a stage and additional amenities. These amenities include a fantastic expanded menu and bar service as well as the luxury of having your food served to you right in your cinema seat! New menu items include chicken tikka masala and scampi with wine, spirits, draft and bottle bear served at the bar.
